Chamber of Commerce “Citizen of the Year” Banquet
Tickets have been selling quickly for the Chamber of Commerce's 2nd annual “Citizen of the Year” Banquet, to be held April 12th at the Shamrock starting at 6:00 p.m. Seating has to be limited to 100, although one rumor had it that for half-price people can stand outside on the stoop and holler support through the door. After the presentation, Donna Stampfler, Marketing and Media Director for the West Michigan Tourist Association, will present her very popular slide show about Great Lakes haunted lighthouses–this alone is worth the price of admission.
