Wednesday July 22, 2015 @ Noon - 4:30 at Heritage Park: OPENING OF BLACKSMITHS DEMONSTRATIONS Watch the blacksmiths demonstrate their historical art using real coal, antique forges and anvils to make hooks, fireplace pokers and decorative items. Bring the family and visit at your leisure. Question and talk with them as they work. Browse items for sale. Custom orders may be arranged. Noon to 4:30 pm. Heritage Park

Wednesday July 22, 2015 @ 7:00 PM at Beaver Island Community Center: TREASURE HUNTING: SHIPWRECKS Five new shipwrecks were discovered recently in the Skillagee Reef located 7 miles from Cross Village in Northern Lake Michigan and directly across from Beaver Island. Discoverer, author of Still Missing and Maritime explorer, Ross Richardson will present his underwater footage exploring his newly found shipwrecks occurring over 150 years ago and explain the shipwreck hunting and diving process. Tickets are $10, available at the Mormon Print Shop Museum and at the door (open seating)
