In honor of Pearl Harbor Day the flags at the Veterans Memorial Park will fly at 1/2 mast.
The Honor and Remember flag is on the right pole that normally has the Michigan Flag.

The American Flag is the burial flag of Lt. Col Giles McCann. According to Alvin Lafrenier he was the only person from the island to serve in three wars WWII, Korea and Vietnam.
