Beaver Island Fire and Rescue has a piece of the fallen World Trade Center. We received it for display, as a remembrance of the 343 firefighters who died September 11, 2001. This piece of metal and concrete is displayed outside our fire hall. I am trying to make it into a proper memorial, and to protect it from the elements. I have a design, but need someone with metal working skills to make the design a reality. It isn't a big job, but I feel it is an important one.
