Beaver Island Historical Society Proudly Presents:

Frank Mays as he presents his tale of surviving the sinking of the SS Carl D. Bradley that went down a just few miles off the south tip of Beaver Island on November 18, 1958. Come hear about the storm, the splitting of the ship, surviving until daylight, and his life after the Bradley.

Come meet Frank Mays the last living survivor. He will also have some of his books available for signing and purchase.

After talking to several islanders about Frank Mays coming to the Island, it was brought to my attention that many remember this fateful night. If you have old newspaper clippings, photos etc. please bring them to share.
