Korea Reborn

AMVETS Post 46 has recently obtained copies of Korea Reborn, A Grateful Nation published by the Republic of Korea to honor all Korean War veterans. One is at the Beaver Island District Library and one was presented to Joe Reed our most decorated Korean War veteran who received Silver and Bronze Stars for heroic service.

For history buffs and veterans who served in Korea since the War, this is an excellent book to check out. The editors have gathered a remarkable number of pictures that are well captioned. This is a good depiction of the strength and resilience of our remarkable ally in Asia as well as the brave men who fought and died for their freedom.
