Beaver Island Historical Society is seeking a museum intern for the summer of 2017. The position runs June 12 through August 12, 2017. The job is for 25 hours per week, and pays a $2,000 stipend.

Description:
Interpret natural and scientific artifacts to increase the visitor's appreciation of the natural and historic values of the Beaver Island archipelago.

Initiate and conduct research concerning natural, or man-made features for development of exhibits and programs for the Beaver Island Historical Society.

Maintain records, update social media, prepare reports and correspondence related to Society work; Research and assist Director to create new exhibits and other projects as needed; Clean and care for exhibits; Assist with set-up and tear-down and work museum events.
