It's going to be a cold weekend, but your friends at WVBI have lots of great programs for you to enjoy while you warm yourself by the fire.

Right now, the Midnight Special, hosted by Beaver Island's own Rich Warren is on the air. It's folk music with a sense of humor.

Tomorrow morning catch up on what's going on around the globe with Worldlink at 6:00, Inside Europe at 7:00 and Living Planet at 8:00.

At 10:00 a.m., tune in to hear another new Top Ten + Five with host Cynthia Jaye and two special in studio contestants for another Who Did It First quiz episode.

Come evening, Sheri Timsak will be in the studio for another edition of Country Classics. In addition to great country music, she'll fill you in on the stories behind the songs and the artists. At 7:00, Titus Jennings is in from Scotland with the Retro Album Chart show with a look at the top albums for this week in 1975 and 2005. Then, WVBI's own Mark Beltair is on deck with another Rockin' the Boat followed at 10:00 p.m. by two hours of the Saturday Night Classic Rock Cottage Mix and then the Jazz Night Watch to take you through the night.

Sunday morning, Worldlink and Inside Europe are on starting at 6:00 followed at 8:00 by Interfaith Voices and the story of how Jesus came to be depicted as a white man. Then, at 9:00, we've got a smooth soundtrack for your Sunday morning--its a mix of light jazz and pop in the Sunday Morning Cottage Mix until 1:00 p.m. when Festival Chorus takes to the air for two hours of classics.

At 5:00 Sunday evening, Phil Becker will be in to take your requests and bring back your youth with Sunday Night Oldies. At 7:00, put your Irish on with Celtic Connections and then at 8:00, don your Yankee Doodle hat for The International Americana Music Show. That's followed at 9:00 by two hours of Full Moon Hacksaw.

You can hear it all this weekend on your community radio station--WVBI. Listen at 100.1 FM on the island and worldwide at www.wvbi.net. We are the Voice of Beaver Island.
