My brother Dan is involved in a band that is competing for the right to a recording contract (as I understand it). They are going to put on a show at Leelanau Sands Casino on Dec. 19th in hopes that they will move on. You can check it out at:

Wish them luck on their scrapbook. They also have a song sample at the bottom of the page.

Rich,

Thank you for checking out our site and signing our guestbook. We would certianly get nowhere fast if it weren't for our friends and family supporting us. When we play in a show and people like you are out there screaming and having a good time it makes us better and it is the best feeling in the world.

Right now we are staring the build up in the practice schedule for the show on Dec 19. We will be working hard to be the best thing that people have seen in a while when we get to the casino.

I have recently been in contact with WTCM and they are flying two record company guys up here from Nashville to be judges in the finals. It could be our best shot yet.

Thanks for the well-wishes and we hope to see you at the casino on Dec 19.

God bless

Tom, Nick, Dan, Dan, and Steve

Great Performance! I put the following note in their website's guestbook:

That was bizarre!!! If we can seperate the two issues for a moment, I would like to set aside the judgement ruling and comment on the power of your performance... Your show was FABULOUS! The musicianship, spirit, clarity, talent, artistry, respect and honor that you displayed really inspired the audience. You made fans as you performed. I did not overhear one single person say, "Yeah, they were okay..." (about Concrete Country), rather everyone was talking about how great you were. People sitting behind us came to the show with no favorites in mind but strictly because of the event. They loved you guys! I am reminded of Toby Kieth whose record label wouldn't let him put "How Do You Like Me Now" on an album because they felt it would insult women. Toby knew he had a hit and quit the label. then he found he couldn't take his songs with him because Mercury owned the rights. Through a friend he was able to buy the rights to his own songs for a six-figure price and the generousity of his friend! When he finally released it, the song ran straight to number one and that has been his story throughout his entire career. It is as if the executives just don't like him but his audience does. Think about that before you let the results of this contest determine your future. You owned that audience - ALL OF IT - all except for three dignitaries or perhaps some political gust or something. Something bizarre.

Keep believing. Your fans do!

Best wishes
