Bay Area Substance Education Services at BIRHC Jan. 11

BASES will be offering counseling services for substance abuse issues at Beaver Island Rural Health Center several times per month beginning in September or October. Services will include assessments and evaluations, individual counseling and group evaluations, provided there are enough for a group. Services are available for adults and teens (teens and adults would be in separate groups).
BASES accepts Medicaid, Healthy Michigan, MIChild or Community Block Grant funding for those below 200% of poverty. Private pay and sliding fee schedules are available for others. 200% of poverty includes annual income of less than $23,760 for a single person household or $48,600 for a family of four.
