Birding Weekend-Breakfast

For those who are questioned by birders as to where they can go for an early breakfast on Saturday and Sunday before hopping into cars to go birding, Dalwhinnies has graciously offered to open at 6:30 a.m.. Thanks also to Eric and Dana Hodgson for the use of a large passenger capacity vehicle and to Island Airways for the use of two vans. We're also grateful to the Charlevoix County Transit staff who are helping move birders around the island. Between cars and the generosity of the community and business owners, we are going to have a great birding weekend! Those not going out on field trips Sunday morning will enjoy the Am Vets wonderful breakfast at 8 a.m. Thanks for the warm birders' welcome on signs around town!
