Fox Lake and Lake Geneserath launch sites

The Peaine Township board is requesting that all boats be removed from the launch sites at Fox Lake and Lake Geneserath prior to the end of the season. The number of boats left at these sites impedes access to water and boat storage has never been condoned by the board. The problem is particularly acute at Fox Lake. The easement is only 66 feet wide and, on a recent visit, 10 of 28 boats were stored on adjacent properties.

I hope the owners of the boats at Fox Lake can find the boat launch since the sign identifying where it is, has been missing for quite a long time.

I'm curious about who the boats on Fox Lake belong to. Are they individuals or leftover from when they were rental boats. Does anyone know? It would be nice not to have to drag the ones that get away in the winter back across the lake in the spring.
