2017 MUSEUM WEEK EVENTS

SUNDAY: JULY 16
11:00 A.M. at the Print Shop:
* Scavenger Hunt (Pick up your game cards and play all week!)

4:00 - 5:00 P.M. BI at the Community Center:
* John Bierma and Dr. Robert List “Rambling Along Latitude 45N”

7:00 - 8:30 P.M. Print Shop
* “Night at the Museum” with Paul Welke - In Remembrance of the 100th Anniversary of WWI

MONDAY: JULY 17
1:00 - 4:00 P.M. at Heritage Park
* Traditional Kite Building
* Michigan Artist Blacksmith Association Day 1

4:00 P.M. at the Print Shop
* Birding Trail Drive with Beth Leuck

7:00 P.M. in front of the Print Shop
* MUSIC ON THE PORCH


TUESDAY: JULY 18
10:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. at Whisky Point
* CMU Station OPEN HOUSE

1:00 - 4:00 P.M. at Heritage Park
* Michigan Artist Blacksmith Association Day 2

4:00 - 5:00 P.M. ~ Wesley Andrews- Little Traverse Band of Odawa Indians, Tribal Historic Preservation Officer will talk about the Native artifacts in the Print Shop
7:00 - 8:00 P.M. ~ Terri Bussey presents Stories Written in the Stones
8:00 - 9:00 P.M. ~ Dr. Scott Demel (NMU) Acculturation “Island Time”—Transition on Remote Beaver Island

* Annual Art Show Opening Day

* Storytelling with Doris Larson will tell Native American Legends and Childhood Stories
* Scavenger Hunt Winners Announced!

6 P.M. at Holy Cross Hall
BINGO: Doors Open at 6:00 PM, Rules at 6:40 PM, and Games begin at 7:00 P.M. SHARP Admission is $20 and Concessions Will Be Available
