Independence Day on WVBI

It's July 4th--the day we celebrate our independence--and your community radio station has a soundtrack for it. All day long listen for our special Cottage Mix. It's current pop and country, oldies, jazz, Celtic, folk and island artists blended together just for Beaver Island. At 1:00 this afternoon we've got a vintage July 4th edition of our Top Ten + Five to help you get ready for the parade at 2:00.

Did someone say parade? We've got that covered, too. At 2;00 WVBI's own Phil Becker and his sidekick Dennis Winslow bring you an audio account of the best Independence Day Parade on the planet. They'll have background on the floats and displays in the parade--so even if you are in town to watch it you'll want to tune in to hear the play-by-play from parade center right in front of the BIC Center.
