Patricia Hooker, "Pat" ~ March 4, 2017

Pat Hooker, age 85, late of Downers Grove and formerly of the East Side passed away March 4, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Leroy Hooker. Loving mother of Joe (Mary Jane) Hoooker, Jim (Marcy) Hooker, John (Barbara) Hooker, Ed (Beth) Hooker, Grace Hooker, the late Sandy Ryan and the late Jeff Hooker. Devoted grandmother of 14 and cherished great grandmother of 8. Dear sister of Theresa Archer and Raymond Oâ??Donnell. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Pat was a longtime employee of Jewel Foods on 106th Street. A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 12 noon until 4:00pm at Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Childrenâ??s Hospital would be preferred. 773-731-2749 www.elmwoodchapel.com

Pat was the daughter of James (the Bay) O'Donnell and Elsie Schmidt. Preceding her also in death were sisters. Catherine White, Bea Boyle and brother, Bernard O'Donnell. Pat was born and raised on the Island. There will be a Memorial Service on the Island in August.

Pat' Funeral Mass is at 11:00 am tomorrow at Holy Cross Church with burial immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends and family are then invited to Holy Cross Parish Hall for a luncheon.
