Historical Society Seeks Board Member

The Beaver Island Historical Society seeks to fill one seat on its Board of Trustees. The BIHS board typically meets 10 times per year to ensure the smooth running of its museums and programs. Interested candidates must be BIHS members; if you aren't already a member, this can be easily accomplished by going to our website www.beaverislandhistory.org or emailing bihistory@tds.net. Persons interested in becoming a BIHS board trustee should email a brief message explaining their interest and desire to serve by October 10, 2016 to bihistory@tds.net. The appointment will be made at the October 20, 2016 BIHS meeting. The selected trustee will serve until the Society's Annual Meeting on August 17, 2017 at which time they seek reelection.
