Are you missing a paddleboat?

Post by Sue Avery »

Just looked out the window and there is a paddle boat up against our dock at our house here on Fox Lake. The wind must have carried it over.... so if you are wondering where it's gone - it's here! Call Dave 2670

Maybe it is one of those feral paddle boats? Without enough human contact, paddle boats (and, for that matter, any non-motored watercraft) can "go native" and revert to the ways of their undomesticated ancestors.

A sobering lesson for all of us: If you have a canoe, kayak, paddleboat, dingy, whatever--just get out there and use it. Don't let it languish because of benign neglect. Show it some love. And enjoy the weekend!
