The passing of Glen Frey this week, a Detroit area native son, is truly a momentous occasion.

Perhaps, though personally, I still think the Beatles were the most influential....

I was working on pressing in some bearings at the sled garage when Serius radio began playing Eagles songs as done by Glen and the boys and also by other artists.
Finally, the DJ broke in (as he would continue to do throughout his broadcast) and announced Glen's passing. It felt like the day John Lennon died to me. There will never be another of either.
