The Historical Society is sponsoring two interesting History programs on Tuesday, July 22:
In the afternoon (1:30 pm) Frank Mays, the sole survivor of the Carl Bradley which went down near Beaver Island in 1958, will tell his story.
In the evening, (7:30 pm)Terri Bussey, the discover of the stone circle will present her latest discoveries on the Island and introduce presenter Luke Clyburn who is researching underwater finds with his crew, cades, and ship, the Pride of Michigan.

Events for Museum Week

Beaver Island News on the 'Net has videoed each of the public presentations occurring on Monday and Tuesday of Museum Week. The video from the Teri Bussey presentation is presently being processed. All other presentations for these two days are available for viewing at:

for subscribers only.

Live streaming video from Beaver Island has been put on hold due to the over-selling of the Internet by TDS. The access upload speed is too slow to make live streaming video practical at this time. BINN hopes to get this back up and running this fall for the sporting events. We are currently looking for sponsors and/or donations for the live streaming project. Let us know if you are interesting in helping out.
