Museum Week Continues with 3 events today, Wednesday July 23

Check out: Noon to 5 p.m. the Art Show at Gregg Fellowship Hall., located on Kenwabikise Lane, off of the back highway. Art from our talented Island artists will be exhibited and available for sale.

1: 30 pm. at St James Township Hall (across from the Harbor Lighthouse Lee Boisvert, from the organization called Minis Kitigan Drum, an non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Great Lakes Native American traditions, will speak on Kee's last book "Cedar Songs." The non-profit was formed on Garden Island by the late Keewaydenquay Peschel (known as Kee) who spent summers on Garden Island Kee was a professor at University of Wisconsin and an author of many books on herbs and herbal medicine. Learn about her fascinating story.

7:30 p.m. Beaver Island Community Center, the antique dealers ail be back to delight the audience with their analysis of antiques and some old things which they have been asked to evaluate. $5 admission. It's interesting and great fun.
