Beaver Island Royale Watercolor Society show in Grand Rapids

Post by jon bouck »

Tributary - a Bouck Brothers Studio and Gallery is hosting a show of Beaver Island artworks. The show will open on the 16th of February with our Third Thursday artwalk downtown GR. On the 24th will be the main party for the show(though the closing party as well). CMU's alumni association has sent out invitations for the event on the 24th as an alumni event and will be providing refreshments. It is open to everyone free of charge from 6:00pm - 9:00 PM (or until the fun stops).
We are inviting all CMU artists that have done work on the Island to submit two works each. Artists living on the Island are more than welcome and even encouraged to participate as well. All artforms are welcome. If you can't get it here for the opening, it is still welcome for the closing show on the 24th. Jewelry as well. Anything associated with the beloved island.
We have a Celtic band scheduled to play (bagpipes included).
Jim Gillingham of the CMU Biological Station is the "Special Guest".
Call 616-458-4124 with question. More information is available at www.tributaryart.net
If you can fit it into your weekend, please try to stop in.
See you at the party on the 25th.
