It Doesn't Take Special Skills

Post by Adam Richards »

And neither does it take magnificent gifts. All it takes is a little heart and a dose of courage...

I am talking about getting up on stage!

The Beaver Island Community School 7th and 8th grade students are planning a spring talent show. It will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 2pm.

Please come to the Community Center and support them. Enjoy watching BICS students of all ages sing, dance, play instruments, tell jokes, showcase their art, and more.

No cost except a little bit of time.
Freewill donations happily accepted as this is one of the few fundraisers to help get the middle school students to Washington, D.C. every other year.

Mark your calendars and create an event in your phone.
See you there!

Please join us at the Community Center this Sunday, May 18, at 2pm for a short and sweet talent show.
The BICS middle school students are hosting the show as a fundraiser for next year's Washington, D.C. trip, but there is no charge to come and enjoy!

Freewill donations happily accepted.

We hope to see you there!

Last Reminder!

Post by Adam Richards »

Today's talent show at the Community Center will be a fun opportunity for you to enjoy the life-loving energy of some of our BICS students. Please join us!

Just a couple of reminders about it:
* It starts at 2pm
* It's free!
* And the middle school students (who are putting it on) are happily receiving freewill donations. Besides being a fun time, this is a fundraiser for next year's Washington, D.C. trip.

Come early and catch some of Marlene Wiser's great slideshow featuring the artwork of students K-12. You will be impressed at what these youngsters create in class+
