Emerald Ash Borer

On May 23rd, we notified the community regarding the purple triangles and the Emerald Ash Borer survey.

BIA has been notified by the Michigan Department of Agriculture that the 16 Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) traps were again free of EAB. Keep up the good work-as long as no firewood is transported to Beaver Island-we have a fighting chance of being EAB free and saving our ash trees.
