BIRHC Annual Car Raffle

It’s once again time to purchase your tickets on the B.I. Rural Health  Center’s annual car raffle. This year’s vehicle is a very attractive  2010 Crystal Red Metallic 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt. In addition to its  looks, this car comes loaded with extras such as cruise control, air  conditioning, power locks and windows, an AM/FM/CD player, keyless  entry, remote start, all-season tires, front and side air bags,  battery rundown protection, tire pressure monitor, and even more.  Powered by a 2.2L, 4-cylinder engine rated at 155 hp, with a 4-speed  automatic transmission, the Cobalt has a combined fuel rating of 27 mpg.

Tickets are $100 each and are available at both the Health Center and  McDonough’s Market, when the car will once again be on display in the  parking lot. The drawing to determine the lucky drive-away winner will be at the Beaver Island Lodge on Labor Day, Sept. 6, at 7:00 pm.

With only 400 tickets being sold this is not only a great opportunity  to win a very nice automobile, it is a crucial fund-raiser for the  Health Center which provides year-round 24/7 health care to residents  and visitors alike. So take a chance, or two, and know your efforts  will be benefitting the not only the Health Center, but the entire  Island.
